Directions from Santa Fe

Take St. Francis Dr./US 285/84 north out of Santa Fe. Continue along US 285/84 through the Tesuque and Pojoaque Pueblos and into the city of Española. US 285/84 becomes Riverside Dr. in Española. Follow Riverside for a few miles until you come to the intersection of State Route 76. There is a Long John Silvers at the corner. Turn right at this intersection and follow SR 76 for just over 1 mile until you come to McCurdy Rd. Turn left at the light and the church will be to your immediate left.

Distance from Santa Fe is ~30 miles.

Directions from Los Alamos

Head east out of Los Alamos along State Route 502. About 1 mile past the Totavi 66 gas station merge right onto State Route 30 (Los Alamos Hwy.) heading north. Take the second right in Española – Paseo de Oñate – and cross the river, merging left at the light onto Riverside Dr.  Follow Riverside for a few miles until you come to the intersection of State Route 76. There is a Long John Silvers at the corner. Turn right at this intersection and follow SR 76 for just over 1 mile until you come to McCurdy Rd. Turn left at the light and the church will be to your immediate left.

Directions from Taos

Head south along State Route 68 to Española. Turn left at the junction of SR 68 and SR 76. There is a Long John Silvers at the corner. Turn right at this intersection and follow SR 76 for just over 1 mile until you come to McCurdy Rd. Turn left at the light and the church will be to your immediate left.

Directions to the Hyde Park Lodge

Thanks to the miracle of Google's Street View you can now see where to turn off when driving through the Santa Fe National Forest to the Hyde Park Lodge. Here's an image of what the area looks like from car-level.

From St. Francis Dr. in Santa Fe turn east onto the northernmost junction of Paseo de Peralta. Peralta makes a horseshoe turn around downtown Santa Fe and intersects St. Francis Dr. twice. (See Santa Fe overview map) There is a Century Bank at the location where you need to turn.

Follow Paseo de Peralta for a little over a mile and then turn left onto Washington Ave. There is a pink adobe Scottish Rite Temple to your left just as you turn.

Washington Ave. becomes Bishops Lodge Rd. Continue a little ways to Artist Rd., turn right. Artist Rd. becomes Hyde Park Rd. and is also State Route 475. Stay on this road all the way to Hyde Memorial State Park and to the Lodge. Distance along Artist Rd. is about 8 miles.

Head south alongt St. Francis Dr. in Santa Fe to the I-25 interchange. Get on I-25 heading south (towards Albuquerque). Get off at the very next exit, Cerrillos Rd./NM 14. Head south along NM 14 until you come to the intersection of NM 14 and SR 599. There will be an Allsup's gas station to the left at this intersection. Turn right onto SR 599 then take the first immediate left onto the frontage road. Follow the frontage road for a few miles, passing the National Guard Armory, until you came to Coral Blanco (look for the white fences on either side of Coral Blanco). Turn left onto Coral Blanco. Vargas Court will be the second right, about 1/4 mile along Coral Blanco. Turn right onto Vargas Ct. Their home is the second one on the left.
